DAISO to launch ramen shop card game in October 2026
Publisher Daiso Publishing announced the 168-shop collection, sold in 5-card packs for 110 yen, with one foil card per pack.
Daiso Publishing announced the ramen shop collection card product Ramen Meiten Card, featuring 168 ramen shops from across Japan with photos and data. The product is scheduled to go on sale at DAISO stores nationwide in October 2026, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.
Each pack contains 5 random cards and costs 110 yen including tax, with one card per pack being a foil card. The cards double as a game in which players find common points between ramen cards and build scoring combinations, then explain the combination's name and shared traits.
Players agree on the name of a yaku, or scoring combination, and its shared traits. There is no fixed ranking of combinations; winners are decided by discussion of correctness, persuasiveness, fun, surprise and ramen love. Included shops include Furano Tomikawa, Honke Daiichi-Asahi, Shinasobaya and Hakata Daruma.
Production and supervision are handled by Ramen Data Bank, and the official card list can be filtered by genre, area, noodle type and soup base. Background colors indicate taste: soy sauce is red, salt is light blue, miso is orange and tonkotsu is green.
