Demon's Souls Remake Tops 60 FPS via KyTyPS5 on RTX 5070

A demonstration video shows the PS5 emulator running Bluepoint's remake at over 60 FPS with DLSS Frame Generation enabled.

A video published by the YouTube channel Geralt Benchmarks demonstrates Demon's Souls Remake running at over 60 FPS on a system with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, using the KyTyPS5 PlayStation 5 emulator. The video was released on October 17, 2026, according to wccftech.com.

The emulator now supports NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, and the demonstration uses a custom fork of KyTyPS5 made by developer chenxiao07, version v20261017. The footage shows gameplay at 1440p with the original PS5 graphics settings, then with DLSS Frame Generation at 2X, and at 1080p with DLAA both with and without Frame Generation.

DLSS Super Resolution is not yet supported by the emulator, and the maximum supported resolution is currently 1440p. The emulator still produces frequent stuttering and frame pacing issues.

In September, Demon's Souls Remake reached the 30 FPS milestone on the emulator, following earlier demonstrations that struggled to hit double-digit framerates. A few weeks before this video, the game struggled to reach even 5 FPS on an RTX 5090 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D system.
