Com2uS Japan announces Destiny Child: Assemble idle RPG for 2027

Destiny Child: Assemble is set for iOS and Android in the first half of 2027 and inherits the original game's story and worldview, with a new narrative.

Com2uS Japan announced Destiny Child: Assemble on October 27, an idle RPG for iOS and Android planned for release in the first half of 2027. The company opened a teaser site and released a teaser video alongside the announcement, according to automaton-media.com.

The game inherits the story and worldview of the original Destiny Child and will feature a new narrative. Development is handled by TIKITAKA STUDIO, a subsidiary of Korean mobile game company Com2uS. The subtitle "Assemble" refers to the "Demon Lord Candidates" — the players in the original game — gathering again. The teaser video shows the sacred relic "Yomi no Hana" blooming.

The title was announced to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the original game's birth. Destiny Child launched in Japan on November 24, 2017 as an RPG for iOS and Android, and later also arrived on PC. It featured Live2D animation across all content and more than 500 characters, and was the first title from SHIFT UP, the studio of Korean illustrator Kim Hyung-tae.

In 2020, operations were transferred from Stairs to developer SHIFT UP. The original Destiny Child service ended on September 21, 2023.
