Diablo 4 Patch Fixes Season 15 Quest-Blocking Bug
Blizzard's update stops the early Splinter of Prime Evil drop but does not reset progress, offering a new-character workaround.
A new Diablo 4 patch fixes a Season 15 bug that granted players a Splinter of Prime Evil earlier than intended and blocked completion of the main seasonal questline, according to gamesradar.com.
Blizzard's patch notes state the change prevents the bug but does not reset quest progress on character already affected. The workaround tells affected players to create a new character in the same partition - Normal or Hardcore, and Normal or SSF - and complete the seasonal questline to unlock Prime Evil Powers for all character in that partition.
The same patch also fixes a bug where four affixes could not be rerolled using the Horadric Cube. Wasted resources are not returned.
Splinters still do not stack, a mechanic players have requested for several weeks before this update.
