eBay UK scalpers list Switch 2 Ocarina of Time remake at over £700
Secondhand sellers are asking more than £700 for foil cover versions of the Switch 2 Zelda remake that include a couple of exclusive extras.
Sellers on eBay UK are listing the Switch 2 version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake in its foil cover edition, with a couple of exclusive extras, at Buy It Now prices above £700, according to Nintendo Life.
The listings are an attempt by secondhand sellers to profit from the game's launch, with the foil cover version and its bundled extras offered at a steep markup over the retail release.
The practice echoes earlier Nintendo launches, where limited special editions have been resold at inflated prices shortly after going on sale. According to the same report, special editions of Fire Emblem: Dagdan Collection sold out almost instantly.
Nintendo has not commented on the eBay UK listings. The asking prices are set by individual sellers rather than by the platform or the publisher.
