Acolnia: Mirror World launches on Switch 2 and PS5 in spring 2027

The game mixes running a sweets shop with top-down action, starring a squirrel named Alva who fires candy at evil spirits.

Acolnia: Mirror World is coming to Switch 2 and PS5 in spring 2027, 4gamer.net reported. The game combines running a sweets shop with top-down action.

Players control Alva, a squirrel who runs a shop in the front dimension and fights evil spirits in the back dimension, known as Duramen. She returns to the treetop village of Acolnia, which was ruined by Duramen's influence, to reopen her family's sweets shop.

Sweets stored in Alva's cheek pouch can be served to customers on plates or fired at enemies as bullets. When she runs out of ammunition, Alva can swallow an enemy whole and fire it back out.

Rebuilding the village

Defeating and purifying evil spirits in dungeons yields funds and materials for rebuilding the village. Sweets ingredients come from farming and livestock.

Players can also hire employees to automate shop operations and expand the shop, developing new menu items that double as weapons. The village grows as players solve residents' problems and take part in seasonal events.
