EXD - Extra Dimensional update adds Steam Frame support and DLSS modes

The VR action-adventure also gains FSR2 upscaling, experimental eye-tracked foveated rendering and reworked controller support for Steam Frame.

EXD - Extra Dimensional has received a large update that adds support for Steam Frame, according to gamingonlinux.com. The VR action-adventure, set in the fantasy world of Erath, now runs on the new hardware with revised controller handling.

The update introduces Classic and Advanced DLSS modes, with Classic set as the default for new profiles. FSR2 upscaling support for AMD graphics cards was also added, alongside experimental eye-tracked Foveated Rendering for Steam Frame.

Steam Frame controller recognition and controls were improved, covering movement, triggers and grip. DirectX 11 remains the default rendering path, with optional SteamVR/OpenVR and OpenXR launch modes selectable through Steam.

The graphics menu was reorganised across all nine supported languages, and a left-handed option that swaps thumbstick functions was added. Players take the role of Max Ventura, a courier working for the company Megazon.
