Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.57 went live on October 13, 2026 at 6:00 AM Eastern, after 24 hours of server maintenance, according to Game Rant. The update introduces Same-region Player Matching, currently available only on the Japanese data centers Elemental, Gaia, Mana, and Meteor.
The system lets players in the same region share Duty Finder and Party Finder without traveling to other data centers. Square Enix plans to roll the feature out to North American and European servers over the coming weeks.
Patch 7.57 also adjusts Beastmaster pet behavior: Tempered Release and Parting Blow now make the beast face its target even when it has been ordered to Stay. Further changes to the Crucible of the Unbroken include a saved Crucible Mode and automatic familiar registration to battlehorns.
