Square Enix reveals two new regions for Final Fantasy XIV expansion
The third survival region focuses on farming and mining, while the fourth centres on airship construction.
Square Enix announced two new areas for Final Fantasy XIV during a keynote on October 31, according to game.watch.impress.co.jp. The two locations are the third and fourth survival regions of the expansion.
The third survival region is a land-based vessel known for farming and mining, while the fourth is a wind-themed vessel centred on airship construction. Walkthrough footage of both areas was shown during the presentation, accompanied by BGM.
The company also showed another player town, the third such location revealed so far.
Final Fantasy XIV is planned for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
