Fortnite's Treasure Hunters season launched on November 1, 2026, as a shorter, month-long mini-season, and it carries a rare reward that few players will see: golden chests that can occasionally display the message "You found Pirate Shop Access," according to gamesradar.com.
Activating Pirate Shop Access grants two tokens, one usable in a window this year and one in 2027. Each token lets the player claim almost everything in Fortnite's item shop for free over 14 consecutive days.
The offer excludes real-money offers, Battle Pass levels, and additional sidekicks beyond the single free sidekick a player does not already own. Items claimed this way cannot be gifted to other players for free.
If a squadmate opens one of the lucky chests, the reward goes to everyone in the squad, duo or trio. Epic Games has not confirmed the odds of finding Pirate Shop Access.
Other rare rewards in the season include a golden A$AP Rocky skin and pickaxe, a loading screen, a vehicle and a Jam Track. The season runs alongside the approach to Grand Theft Auto 6, which is set to launch on November 19, 2026.
