G-STAR 2026 Names AI Firm Wrtn as Main Sponsor

Wrtn Technologies, the company behind the AI character chat service Rapport, will be the main sponsor of G-STAR 2026, the organizing committee announced. It is the first time since the event began in 2005 that a non-game company has taken the top sponsor role, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.

G-STAR 2026 runs November 19-22 at BEXCO in Busan. The second exhibition hall lineup was completed on the 20th with the addition of Capcom, joining Sega, Koei Tecmo, NetEase Games and CD Projekt Red to make five global game companies in that hall. Capcom will hold Korean first demos of titles including Mega Man: Dual Override at about 35 booths.

Krafton will show five titles including PUBG, Tarae: Unbound and Age Twister. Last year NCSOFT was the main sponsor of G-STAR; in October 2025, organizing committee chairman Cho Young-ki said at a press conference that major game companies did not have many new titles to show.

AGF 2026 lineup and sponsors

AGF 2026 runs December 4-6 at KINTEX in Goyang, with NCSOFT as main sponsor. NCSOFT will focus on Astraea Oratio, developed by Dynamis One, with 150 booths. Upcoming titles at the event include Azur Promilia, Paraydolia, Silver Palace and Persona 4 Revival.

SOOP is an official AGF sponsor for the first time this year, presenting virtual streamer content, and Google Play and Galaxy Store are among the gaming distribution platforms participating. In 2024 Myeongjo: Wuthering Waves and last year Smilegate were AGF main sponsors, making this the third straight year of a game-related main sponsor at that event.
