Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on November 8 that Kan'nae Hiwatari will be added to Gakuen Idolmaster on November 16, according to automaton-media.com. The character will be implemented as a producible idol.
Hiwatari is a maid who serves the Kuramoto family and attends to Chinatsu Kuramoto. According to her profile, she believes that supporting her young lady counts as training.
Her voice is provided by Ayano Abe, the voice actress credited for the role.
A broadcast titled Hatsuboshi Gakuen HR ~2.5th Anniversary SP~ is scheduled for November 15 at 19:00, the day before the character goes live.
