The game was originally expected in 2026. Its sandbox-style single-player campaign lets players take control of one of four factions — House Stark, House Lannister, House Targaryen and the White Walkers — conquer territories and rewrite key events from the HBO series.
Jon Snow is among the playable heroes, able to rally nearby troops. Robb Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Jaime Lannister, Arya Stark and the Night King are also playable. Game director Ryan McMahon said the campaign is not restricted to a specific season or point in the timeline.
The title also supports online co-op and online multiplayer.
