gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 opens in Bangkok

gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 opened on October 29 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok, according to 4gamer.net. The business area opened that day for trade and media visitors only, while the entertainment area opens to the public on October 30. The event runs until November 1, 2026.

The venue has grown by about 20% to more than 35,000 square meters, and the entertainment area uses four halls for the first time. Bandai Namco Entertainment, Capcom, Sega, Nintendo and Pokemon have booths in the public area.

The business area adds two new programs this year: Reverse Pitch, in which publishers tell developers what games they are looking for, and Debate, where two teams of industry leaders argue whether efficiency or creativity makes studios succeed in the AI era.

The Thai pavilion organized by the Thai Game Association hosts 49 companies in the business area and 86 titles in the entertainment area. More than 90 Thai games will be exhibited across both areas with support from depa, the Thai government agency.

The first Asia Game Talent Showcase is also being held this year, with student developers from across Asia pitching their own games.

Second edition in Bangkok

gamescom asia merged with Thailand Game Show and moved from Singapore to Bangkok in 2025. This is the sixth gamescom asia and the second edition co-hosted with Show No Limit and Online Station, which run Thailand Game Show. The previous edition drew 206,159 visitors over four days with 294 exhibitors.
