Gravity unveils RO Playzone browser mini-games for Ragnarok

The web platform links to an existing Ragnarok Online account so players can trade points for items in the PC game.

Gravity has unveiled RO Playzone, a web-based mini-game platform built on its Ragnarok IP, at Ragnarok Festa 2026 held at UOB Live in EmSphere Mall in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 7 local time, according to techm.kr.

RO Playzone runs in a browser without a separate app installation, and links to an existing Ragnarok Online account. Points earned in the mini-games can be exchanged for items in the PC version of Ragnarok, giving players in-game rewards usable in Ragnarok Online.

Each mini-game is designed to last about one minute, and Gravity aims to offer at least 70 of them by the official launch. The platform is also planned to include features for inviting characters to other users and decorating one's own character, along with exclusive rewards such as limited costumes and items with special stats.

Gravity Game Tech COO Lee Jae-jin presented the platform at the Bangkok event. A soft launch is planned for the third quarter of next year.

Existing adventurer base

Ragnarok already has a user base of millions of adventurers, which Gravity aims to connect through RO Playzone.
