Five Nights at Freddy's Alum Reveals Gun Knife Bomb
Luke Piazza and XCathedra Games announced the four-player horror game Gun Knife Bomb, now wishlistable on Steam.
Luke Piazza, a former Five Nights at Freddy's developer and co-founder of XCathedra Games, has revealed Gun Knife Bomb, a four-player horror game. An announcement trailer for the game was released, and the title can now be wishlisted on Steam, according to screenrant.com.
Gun Knife Bomb is described as a deadly game of Rock, Paper, Scissors for 2-4 players. At the start of each round, players choose a gun, a knife, or a bomb, and can bluff and cheat to win.
Defeated players can return as a disembodied voice to continue bluffing. Items such as headphones and speech jammers affect the social negotiation element of the game.
Gun Knife Bomb was a finalist in the 2026 BigMode Game Jam.
Background
The game draws inspiration from the table-based horror party game Buckshot Roulette, particularly its PSX-inspired aesthetic, as well as Cold War-era media and films like WarGames. In October 2025, XCathedra Games was described as made up of industry veterans, IGF award nominees, and former Five Nights and Fears to Fathom developers.
