Halloween Game Gets First Paid DLC and Free Map on October 27
Illfonic's Halloween adds two Michael Myers skins, a free Tower Farm map, survivor characters and a costume pack on October 27.
Illfonic will release the first paid DLC for its Halloween game on October 27, alongside a free update that adds a new map. The paid content includes a Michael Myers skin based on Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers and a second Michael Myers skin based on the 2018 film Halloween.
Each skin is priced at $10. The free update arriving the same day adds a fifth map called The Tower Farm, inspired by a location in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.
Two new survivor characters, Michelle and Eugene, join the game for $10 for the pair. A Civilian Costumes Pack 1 offers 14 outfits and 42 colorings for $10 for the set.
Illfonic said this content drop is the first of several planned for the game in its first year. The Halloween film series spans 13 movies, and GameSpot's review of the game described it as a vibes-heavy experience befitting the timeless film while offering a unique hook.
