Halo Studios Says It Intends to Finish Upcoming Novels

Halo Studios writer Alex Wakeford said in a Halo Waypoint post that the studio aims to complete Halo: Fireteam Noble and Halo: Burn the Road Home.

Halo Studios writer Alex Wakeford said in a Halo Waypoint blog post that the studio intends to complete the novels Halo: Fireteam Noble and Halo: Burn the Road Home, following recent layoffs and restructuring at the studio. According to Eurogamer, Wakeford stated it is "absolutely the studio's intent" for Halo: Fireteam Noble to cross the finish line, and said a good chunk of that book's editorial process has already been conducted.

On Halo: Burn the Road Home, Wakeford said the studio is determined to see the novel through to completion. A portion of the blog post, written before the layoffs, stated that Halo: Burn the Road Home is dropping out of slipspace next year.

Wakeford also wrote that Canon Fodder has come to an end. In the same post, the studio confirmed that December's Halo Fest event is still going ahead despite the shakeup, and included never-before-seen concept art set on Zeta Halo showing biomes that do not appear in the final game.
