Dinosaur Fossil Digging Sim 'Hole-Digging Dinosaur Museum' Launches on PC Today
Players dig with a pickaxe and reassemble 10 dinosaur skeletons piece by piece in a new PC fossil excavation game out today.
A dinosaur fossil excavation simulation game launched for PC today, October 16, 2026. Players dig with a pickaxe to unearth fossil bones, ore and treasure chests, with the terrain shifting according to where they dig and no fixed routes.
A detector reacts when bones are nearby, showing their direction and distance. Excavated bones are carried back to the museum and placed on pedestals to reconstruct complete dinosaur skeletons. Each skeleton is made up of 28 to 35 parts.
The game includes 10 skeletons, among them Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, Brachiosaurus and Mammoth. Completing every skeleton unlocks a mysterious fossil to dig up.
Funds earned from selling ore can be spent on six upgrades: digging range, energy limit, carrying capacity, jetpack, headlamp and detector. The PC release supports Japanese-language display.
Digging and rebuilding
