Isa City, QT DIG∞ to Promote Esports Training Camp

Isa City announced at Tokyo Game Show 2026 a collaboration with professional esports team QT DIG∞ to promote the city as an esports training camp destination.

Isa City, Kagoshima Prefecture, announced at Tokyo Game Show 2026 a collaboration with Fukuoka-based professional esports team QT DIG∞ (formerly Sengoku Gaming), according to 4gamer.net.

The city proposed using itself as an esports training camp destination combined with digital detox, offering canoeing, fishing, BBQ and hot springs.

Isa City has exhibited at Tokyo Game Show for the fifth consecutive year without bringing any games. It also collaborated with Entergram's romance adventure game Seifuku Kanojo 2, released in January 2025, in which the city appears.

A new regional revitalization cooperation volunteer who previously worked in IT in Nagoya moved to Isa City in June 2026 and now handles esports-related work, AI advice for local businesses and smartphone lessons for elderly residents. The city is also considering forming an esports corporate team that combines work and gaming.
