Joyever Studio Reveals Horror Sim Adopt Me Please for PC
Players run the Tomoshibi Shelter, screening animals and adopters by day and hunting mimics by night; Steam version supports Japanese.
Joyever Studio is developing the horror simulation game Adopt Me Please for PC via Steam, the studio has revealed. The game will support Japanese, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.
Players take the role of a caretaker at an animal shelter called Tomoshibi Shelter, where the job is to find adoptive owners for the animals in its care. The work is split between day and night: during the day, players examine the animals, check their records and vet prospective adopters.
Not every arrival is what it appears to be. Some of the animals brought to the shelter are actually mimics that take animal-like forms, and at night the caretaker must check whether new arrivals are mimics.
If a mimic is let inside the shelter, players must send it to the mimic countermeasure team before it mutates at night.
Day and night duties
The split structure sets record-checking and adopter screening against the nightly inspection of new animals. Joyever Studio has not given a release date for the Steam version.
