Kaiju Ace fighter jet sim announced for Steam, April 5, 2027

Gamer To Game Developer's Kaiju Ace pits fighter jets against giant monsters, with 24 unlockable aircraft and a career mode of generated missions.

Gamer To Game Developer has announced Kaiju Ace, a fighter jet flight simulation game in which players shoot down giant kaiju threatening cities, and released a trailer. The studio plans to launch the game on PC via Steam on April 5, 2027.

Players pilot fighter jets in first-person or third-person view, managing speed and altitude while avoiding collisions with terrain and the kaiju themselves. The game offers 24 types of aircraft to unlock, including light fighters, multirole jets and bombers, with guns, missiles, rockets and bombs available as weapons.

A career mode generates missions at random, ranging from city defense and interception to escorting supply convoys and combat on multiple fronts. Kaiju attack with charges, projectiles, fire and ash, and players must target exposed weak points and destroy attacking body parts.

Damage to cities persists across missions, and surviving cities recover over time, with successful escort missions contributing to reconstruction. At the time of writing, Kaiju Ace does not support Japanese.
