Katapult Games' DUNK heads to Steam in 2027

The first-person basketball game offers 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 matches on stages including a schoolyard, the lunar surface and a jungle.

Katapult Games announced on October 28, 2026 that its first-person basketball game DUNK will be released for PC via Steam in 2027, according to gamebiz.jp.

The game combines skill, teamwork and physics simulation, and drops scripted sequences: every pass and shot is based on player skill, the developer said.

Matches support 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 multiplayer across stages that include a schoolyard, the lunar surface and a jungle.

DUNK also includes a proximity chat feature for communicating with nearby rivals. Winning matches rewards new cosmetics, perks and emotes for customising a player's appearance.

An announcement trailer for the game was released alongside the announcement.
