Keelblade Getting New Steam Demo, Digital Confectioners Says
Digital Confectioners says a fresh Keelblade demo will arrive on the Steam Store soon, following the pirate RPG's showing in Steam Next Fest.
Digital Confectioners has announced that a new Keelblade demo will be added to the Steam Store in the near future, according to screenrant.com. The studio's statement follows the pirate RPG's demo appearance in Steam Next Fest.
Keelblade is a pirate RPG built for one to six players on Steam. Players build and maintain their own pirate ship and travel the seas, with melee combat that requires dodging and parrying to survive.
The game's multiplayer is designed without tethering or summoning, and progression is shared across the entire group rather than tied to the server host. Server hosts can also adjust difficulty, spawn rates and other settings.
The announcement comes after the Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake, earlier in 2026, brought renewed attention to pirate games. Separately, the seamless co-op mod for Elden Ring has remained the game's most popular mod since its release; FromSoftware developed Elden Ring, while the mod is a community project.
