HoYoverse's Petit Planet launches December 4

A preview broadcast showed Petit Planet's neighbors, core systems and release events, including free outfits and furniture.

HoYoverse announced on December 2 that its life simulation game Petit Planet will be officially released on December 4. The release date was announced alongside a preview broadcast, according to gamemeca.com, which presented the game's various neighbors, core gameplay systems and launch events.

In Petit Planet, players take on the role of a "star keeper" and ride the star-sea spirit Oumuamua to the star sea to build their own planet. Planting Luka seeds grows a Luka tree, which gradually changes terrain, seasons and ecosystems.

More than 1,000 outfits and furniture items can be obtained for free through in-game activities, the announcement said. Among the neighbors shown were planet support agent Mobai and star-sea racer Elshashani.

Shared activities and launch events

Players can sail boats together to explore islands in the star sea, trade and bid at the Galaxy Market, and share creations with other users. A pre-registration raffle event offers prizes and a free outfit set.

Two further events were detailed: one lets players design their own planet, and another gives a special outfit to each of two invited friends who complete pre-registration as a team.
