Kojima Says OD Still in Development, Filming Runs Through Year-End

Hideo Kojima confirmed on his Koji10 radio show that OD remains in production, with filming continuing through the end of the year and ADR work extending into 2027.

Hideo Kojima said on his Koji10 radio show that OD, his Xbox Game Studios project, is still in development despite the long stretch without updates, according to gamesradar.com. Kojima added that he is intentionally keeping quiet about the game and does not want to reveal much before release.

Filming on OD began in June and will continue through the end of the year, Kojima said. Automated dialogue replacement work will carry over into 2027.

Kojima said stand-in performers had been used for temporary versions of scenes because of the Screen Actors Guild strikes. He noted that Udo Kier had looked forward to the project and took part in a three-day scan alongside Hunter Schafer.
