Kojima Productions' 10th Anniversary Exhibition Opens at Azabudai Hills Gallery
Hideo Kojima posted photos of visitors including Akio Otsuka and Mamoru Oshii; same-day tickets go on sale from November 4.
The exhibition "KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS 10th ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION BEYOND THE STRAND" opened at Azabudai Hills Gallery on October 31, 2026, and runs through December 20, 2026. The show marks the 10th anniversary of Kojima Productions and traces ten years of the studio's creation and challenges, according to gamespark.jp.
Hideo Kojima posted photos on X of visitors to the venue, apparently taken at a press preview on October 30. One photo shows the game creator with voice actress Kikuko Inoue, director Mamoru Oshii, voice actor Akio Otsuka and actress Shioli Kutsuna.
Otsuka voiced Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series and Die-Hardman in Death Stranding. Inoue appeared in Snatcher, voiced The Boss in Metal Gear Solid and Amelie in Death Stranding. Oshii directed Ghost in the Shell and served as body model and partly as motion capture for a pizza shop in Death Stranding 2, while Kutsuna played Rainy in Death Stranding 2 — her first role in a Kojima work.
Kojima also posted a photo of Maera Morgan, who played the Chiral Artist in Death Stranding. Game creator Masahiro Sakurai visited the venue as well, though no two-shot photo was posted.
Prototype and development materials on display
The exhibition displays a prototype of Death Stranding shown publicly for the first time, alongside Kojima's high-school book report on Kobo Abe's "The Rope". Visitors can also see early ending proposals and development materials for Death Stranding 2, a recreation of the red door from the OD promotional video, and a 360-degree Death Stranding video.
Same-day tickets will go on sale from November 4.
