Best Buy, Target Set The Legend of Zelda Switch 2 Restocks for November 5-6

Best Buy and Target have confirmed new restocks of The Legend of Zelda Switch 2 special edition, with Target beginning in-store stock on November 5 and online availability on November 6, according to gamesradar.com. Best Buy's allocation is limited to in-store midnight events tied to the launch of Ocarina of Time Remake, where the console will also be available.

The retailer's online listing for The Legend of Zelda Switch 2 is expected to see movement from November 5 onwards. Target's restocks have typically dropped early in the day, giving shoppers a window beyond the midnight queues at Best Buy.

The two chains are not the only US retailers in the picture. Amazon dropped The Legend of Zelda Switch 2 stock on release day but has been quiet since, while Walmart cancelled a number of pre-orders the day before launch and has been working through its backlog.

UK retailers also in play

In the UK, EE has offered The Legend of Zelda Switch 2 restocks twice since launch, including bundles with Pokemon Pokopia. Argos previously offered stock ahead of launch, Smyths Toys dropped its original wave when the handheld was announced, and Very has bundled stock with extras. Currys, by contrast, no longer has a listing page for the console.

Amazon UK ran a strong wave of The Legend of Zelda Switch 2 handhelds before launch and is now sold out. Target had already stated, in the week before this restock window, that it would run in-store drops on November 5 and online drops on November 6.
