Lego unveils 814-piece Sanctum Sanctorum with Marvel Zombies twist

The modular facade set includes six minifigures and launches on January 1, 2027, at roughly half the price of the previous version.

Lego has revealed a new modular Lego Marvel Sanctum Sanctorum set, an 814-piece model that carries a What If and Marvel Zombies theme, according to gamesradar.com. The set launches on January 1, 2027 via Lego.

Unlike the earlier version, the new build is a facade rather than a complete building, and it costs roughly half of the previous set. Flipping the model around opens up three rooms: the entrance hall, the library and the attic.

The set ships with six minifigures drawn from the two animated shows, among them Strange Supreme, F.R.I.D.A.Y., Zombie Hunter Spider-Man, Red Queen Scarlet Witch, Zombie Namor and Zombie Thor. The undead theme runs through the whole build.

The previous Lego Sanctum Sanctorum was a full building with a much larger piece count and was priced at $249.99/£214.99.

What collectors get

The new Sanctum includes nods beyond its minifigures, with references to the frog Thor known as Throg, The Watcher and the Book of Cagliostro. At 814 pieces the build sits well below the scale of its predecessor.
