Magic: The Gathering reveals Mirror Universe Janeway card for Star Trek crossover
The mythic rare "Janeway, Cracked Mirror" is a reskin of Isshin, Two Heavens as One and comes in Boosters, not the Commander decks.
Wizards of the Coast has revealed a new Magic: The Gathering card titled "Janeway, Cracked Mirror" for the Star Trek: Stardates crossover, which launches on November 13, 2026, according to screenrant.com. The card depicts a Mirror Universe version of Captain Kathryn Janeway with a Borg implant and a scar.
The card is a mythic rare with artwork by Oliver Barrett. It is a reskin of the existing Magic card "Isshin, Two Heavens as One," and costs three mana in red, white and black. It has 3/4 power and toughness and lets attack-related triggered abilities activate an additional time.
"Janeway, Cracked Mirror" is part of the 30-card Stardates bonus collection and is not included in any of the four pre-constructed Commander decks. Nonfoil versions appear in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters, while traditional foil versions are exclusive to Collector Boosters.
Commander decks and shipping delays
The crossover marks the franchise's 60th anniversary and includes four Commander decks: Federation Fleet, Landing Party, Klingon Fury and We Are the Borg. Some products, including Commander decks in North America, are currently facing shipping delays.
The Mirror Universe take on Janeway follows the 2024 Star Trek: Prodigy episode "Cracked Mirror," which featured an evil Janeway in that reality. Kate Mulgrew played Captain Janeway across seven seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, and the 2001 finale "Endgame" left the character with Borg implants.
