Main Sequence launches on Steam on November 12

Tumbling Dumbling Studio's space factory builder has players automate production from a single mining ship and share blueprints in create mode.

Tumbling Dumbling Studio's first-person space factory-building game Main Sequence will launch on Steam on November 12, according to gamerant.com. The announcement confirms a release date for the automation title, which has players designing spaceships and building space stations.

Players begin with a single mining ship and must harvest a surrounding asteroid belt to start their base. From there they can build a space station to house a collection of spaceships and connect machines and conveyor belts into supply lines.

Combat is part of the loop: players fight ancient alien defense forces using a fleet of ships. Star systems are procedurally generated and can contain black holes and neutron stars, along with NPC allies and factions.

A separate create mode lets players save blueprints to share with friends, and the game supports co-op, with each player starting with their own ship.

Satisfactory, described as arguably the most beloved game in the automation genre, is set on the alien world MASSAGE-2(A-B)b.
