Makkaigun'yū Kakkyo demo launches on Steam
A turn-based strategy RPG about a brother and sister who wake after 100 years; the demo covers part of the story.
A demo for the turn-based strategy RPG Makkaigun'yū Kakkyo is now available on Steam, according to 4gamer.net. The demo lets players experience part of the game's story.
The story follows a brother and sister who wake from a 100-year sleep to find their father's castle in ruins. Their only weapons are the brother's fists and the sister's plush toy. Calling themselves Rei, they set out into a demon realm left without a king, meeting monsters who have lives and troubles of their own.
In battle, weakened enemies can be dominated and made to join the player's army for that fight, after which they can be controlled as allies.
Once players retake the area around the castle, they develop their territory and manage troops, appointing trained monsters as mashō and forming units under them.
The full version is planned to include a free mode, according to 4gamer.net.
