Nexon Announces Autumn Events for MapleStory : Idle RPG Ahead of First Anniversary

Nexon announced a slate of autumn celebration events and new content updates for the mobile idle RPG MapleStory : Idle RPG, ahead of the game's first service anniversary in November, according to game.donga.com. The publisher outlined seasonal events, a new weapon grade and expanded raid content.

The 'Witch's Candy Gift' event runs until November 4 and rewards players with one of four masks — Cat Lantern Mask, Frankenstein Mask, Dracula Mask or Werewolf Mask — for defeating 1,000 monsters daily. Players who already own a mask receive a 'Candy Booster' instead, which boosts experience gain and provides hunting stat buffs. The 'Witch Hat' costume and 'Candy Rich Chair' item can be obtained based on the number of accumulated mission completions.

A separate 'Mysterious October, Together with Meki!' event runs until November 4, granting weapon summon tickets and growth resources for reaching daily cumulative connection times, while the 'Mysterious October Attendance Package' provides Blue Diamonds equal to the purchase amount plus daily growth resources. The '1st Anniversary Eve' event runs from October 22 to November 4, offering Additional Cubes and Red Diamonds through attendance.

On the content side, a new weapon grade called 'Eternity' has been added, positioned above the previous highest grade 'Ancient'. The boss raid 'Pink Bean' is being introduced to Guild Raids, where up to 8 guild members can form a party to defeat Pink Bean within a time limit and revival count. Rewards include 'Pink Bean's Chalice' and 'Pink Bean's Spellbook' based on damage dealt, along with an exclusive medal for fully defeating the boss.

A new Chaos difficulty has also been added to the party quest 'Romeo and Juliet', rewarding the legendary top-tier equipment 'Alchemist's Ring' upon completion. A 'Burning UP' event for 'Romeo and Juliet' runs for two weeks from October 22 to November 4, increasing opportunities to obtain reward equipment.

MapleStory : Idle RPG launched its service in November 2025. At launch, it simultaneously topped the Google Play and App Store sales charts in Korea and received high praise in overseas markets.
