MGAME Unveils Gwihoon Kiwoogi Features Ahead of November 2026 Launch

MGAME detailed classes, companion growth and post-launch update plans for Gwihoon Kiwoogi in a media interview ahead of its November 2026 release.

MGAME held a media interview event for its upcoming mobile game Gwihoon Kiwoogi, where the company detailed the game's features and post-launch update plans ahead of its November 2026 release, according to inven.co.kr.

Gwihoon Kiwoogi is a stage-based idle game built on the Gwihoon IP. It features six classes, including Geommusa and Domusa, along with companion collection and growth systems and a new story.

In battle, players form a team of three, consisting of the hero character and two companions. The game's arena-style story centers on Taehwanogun being betrayed by his disciple Yangakpyeong.

An AI-based user content feature was cut from the open spec due to legal and management issues, but MGAME plans to add it in a fast update after launch. Pre-registration for the game has been performing well.

Reviving Older IPs

MGAME previously saw good results with Gwihoon M, according to director Lee Jae-chang. The company has been developing new IPs while also aiming to revive existing ones, and Gwihoon Kiwoogi is intended as the first of its mobile titles built on that revival strategy.
