Modern Warfare 4 adds Shipment map four days after launch
Infinity Ward's announced October 27 update brings the classic layout to a harbour shipping yard, but a dedicated 24/7 playlist was not confirmed.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 received an update on 27 October 2026 that adds the Shipment map, four days after the game launched on 23 October. Infinity Ward had announced the 27 October release date for Shipment in a blog post before launch.
The Modern Warfare 4 version of Shipment keeps the classic layout but is set in a harbour shipping yard, with Soviet-era concrete buildings in the background. Infinity Ward did not say whether a dedicated 24/7 Shipment playlist will accompany the map, according to Eurogamer.
Shipment first appeared in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in 2007 and has returned in several later entries, including Modern Warfare 2019, Modern Warfare 2 in 2022 and Modern Warfare 3 in 2023. A Shipment-inspired map, Shipment 1944, also featured in Call of Duty: WW2.
Modern Warfare 4 Season One begins on 6 November 2026.
