Navi's 'Hey! Listen!' Returns in Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Remake
Nintendo shared a clip confirming Navi's iconic voice line is in the Ocarina of Time remake, launching November 5, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo has confirmed that Navi's "Hey! Listen!" voice line will be included in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2. In a clip posted to the Zelda Official JP Twitter feed, Navi's "Listen!" line can be heard during a fight with a Deku Baba inside the Great Deku Tree, delivered in a slightly different and crisper tone than in the N64 version, according to gamerant.com.
The clip also shows Navi's updated character model, which has more iridescent and detailed wings than the original.
Navi is not only a companion in the remake. She will still let Link Z-Target enemies, and pressing right on the D-Pad freezes time and displays Navi's text-box information about the enemy.
The remake adds features that were not present in the N64 or 3DS versions, including the Trails of Time tapestry, Zelda Notes in the Nintendo Switch Online app, an improved camera scheme, and a dedicated jump button.
Release and voice cast
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with pre-orders available on the Nintendo Store and other retailers. Nintendo did not reveal who voices Navi in the remake.
During the September 8, 2025, Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct presentation, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma showed gameplay footage and advised players to pay attention to Navi's hints. The original Ocarina of Time was released in 1998 and was previously re-released on the Nintendo 3DS.
