NCSoft sets Time Takers test for November 13-16, 2026
NCSoft is using player feedback from test phases to refine its upcoming titles, including an improved Time Takers build due in a November test.
NCSoft will show an improved version of its time survival shooter Time Takers in a third test running from November 13 to 16, 2026, the company said, as it expands an "open development" approach that collects player feedback before release and applies it to game improvements.
According to inews24.com, the company pointed to changes already made to Time Takers after its first closed beta in March 2026, when NCSoft reworked the upgrade system and character appearance and added a color-vision-deficiency mode and a training ground based on player feedback. At a Steam global playtest in September 2026, the game recorded overall increases in play time and repeat-play metrics compared with March.
The feedback-driven work also covers the subculture game Astrae Oratio, which ran a global closed beta test in October 2026. Over five days the test accumulated about 80,000 hours of play time and more than 1.13 million entries into combat content, according to the company. In the test survey, 86.7% of respondents rated their first impression positively and 93% said they would play after the official launch.
NCSoft has been showing Astrae Oratio publicly over the course of 2026: from April 2026 it revealed characters and world setting through official social media, in August 2026 it took part in Comic Market, Japan's largest doujin event, and in September 2026 it first showed a playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026.
