Beast Studios launches Never Be Alone demo on Steam
The playable demo arrives ahead of the survival game's full release and includes co-op plus character customization.
Beast Studios has released a playable demo of its open-world survival game Never Be Alone on PC via Steam, according to gamespark.jp. The demo is available ahead of the game's full release.
The demo lets players adjust gameplay settings and customize their character before starting. Online co-op is supported, with as many players as the host PC can handle.
Controller support is almost fully implemented, though Beast Studios says some issues are still being fixed. The studio also warned of a first-launch bug that may affect the third-person camera, which can be restored by moving the FOV slider by 0.1.
In a Steam news post, Beast Studios discussed its development plans up to early access.
Three islands, 30-plus missions
Never Be Alone is set 10 years after an outbreak, with the player waking up with amnesia in a ruined world. The game spans three islands with over 30 story missions and 11 types of infected, alongside human threats such as military, bandits and raiders depending on the player's choices.
By September, the game had surpassed 185,000 wishlist registrations.
