Nexon Outlines Dungeon & Fighter Updates at D-Note Broadcast
Nexon detailed character adjustments, the new Stigmatized Nightmare challenge, and Michaela Raid reward changes during its October 27 D-Note broadcast.
Nexon announced future patch and update directions for Dungeon & Fighter during a D-Note online broadcast on October 27, according to gamemeca.com. The presentation covered character adjustments, new challenge content, and changes to an existing raid.
Performance adjustments for about 60 characters were introduced, focused on skill casting structure and control feel rather than raw power increases. The SP cost needed to strengthen the common Backstep skill was removed, and first and true awakening buffs used by buffer classes now activate instantly on cast. Equipment durability will no longer decrease in areas without monsters, while emoticon use in chat, loading improvements, and unified Dungeon & Fighter/Nexon account ID features will be applied later.
A new single-player challenge content called "Stigmatized Nightmare" was added, requiring level 115 and fame of 119,414 or higher based on the first server. It consists of three phases with 10-minute time limits each, where damaging monsters earns points while time passing, being hit, or using consumables deducts points. The monsters are Yurijie, a fusion of Diregie and Yuris, and Astaros, the Knight of Fear, each appearing on a four-week cycle. Phase 1 rewards up to 100 Nightmare Fragments per character per week, exchangeable for 400 necklace/bracelet bead selection boxes or 150 Primordial Black-Accessory selection boxes. A detailed ranking system will be announced on November 5.
Director Park Jong-min stated that the Michaela Raid hard difficulty lacked playing motivation despite being the highest tier, and a special auction event will be introduced as a temporary measure.
The "Arad's War Clouds" content will be revealed starting October 29, with webtoons by authors including Reba and cinematic videos in preparation. The Dungeon & Fighter Festival offline event will be held in the third week of December with equipment score requirements for fair participation. Seria's special shop, including 3,000 End Revelation boxes and 156 fatigue recovery potions, will operate until the December 3 maintenance.
