Nexthrees signs Dubai Media Council MOU to publish Dubai-made games

Korean game company Nexthrees signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Media Council (DMC) on October 30, 2026, covering cooperation on fostering the games industry and global business, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.
Under the agreement, the two sides will work together on global distribution and publishing of games developed in Dubai, building in-game economy systems, fostering local game studios and talent, discovering investment opportunities in the games industry, and consulting from Korean games industry experts.
Nexthrees plans to draw on subsidiary ONE Store's global game distribution platform and publishing network to support Dubai developers' overseas expansion. The cooperation is tied to Dubai's games industry program, Dubai Program for Gaming 2033 (DPG33).
At the signing ceremony, Nexthrees CEO Jang Hyun-kook and advisors Song Jae-kyung and Seo Min were appointed as advisors to the Dubai government on the games industry.

In October 2025, Nexthrees signed a partnership with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). Through its local entity Nexthrees Hub, the company currently runs a game studio fostering and global publishing program with the DMCC Gaming Centre.
