City Connection Reveals New Character for Ninja Baseball Bat Man Remake

Pompon Ruri joins as the fifth playable fighter in Ninja Baseball League Man - Basis Loaded, which supports local four-player co-op.

City Connection has shared new details about its upcoming remake of Ninja Baseball Bat Man, now titled Ninja Baseball League Man - Basis Loaded, according to gamemeca.com. The remake adds 3D lighting and new characters while preserving the atmosphere of the original arcade title.

Among the additions is Pompon Ruri, also known as Pink League Man. In the original game she appeared only as a cheering NPC, but in the remake she joins the roster as the fifth playable character. The game supports local play for up to four players.

Development Plans

The developers say they intend to keep expanding the IP with future titles if the remake performs well. City Connection previously released Rushing Beat X in spring 2025, gaining experience with modern belt-scroll action games.

Irem originally released Ninja Baseball Bat Man, also known as Baseball Fighting League Man, as an arcade belt-scroll action game in 1993. The remake was announced in August 2025.
