Nintendo Previews Saria, Ruto and Darunia in Ocarina of Time Remake

Nintendo's UK social feeds shared a look at three Kokiri-era characters ahead of the remake's November 5, 2026 launch on Switch 2.

Nintendo has released a preview image showing how Saria, Princess Ruto and Darunia will appear in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. The image was posted on Nintendo's official UK social media feeds.

Darunia is shown wearing a white loincloth with added adornments on his arms and legs. Saria's attire is made of leather and materials gathered around Kokiri Forest. Princess Ruto is the least changed of the three compared to her original incarnation.

According to the preview, each of the three characters will have more detailed facial expressions and voiced dialogue in the main story.

Previous reveals and launch details

In an earlier character preview, Nintendo shared a short clip of Ganondorf's appearance in the upcoming title. During the September 8 Zelda Direct broadcast, some fans noted that Ocarina of Time's Ganondorf may be voiced by Matt Mercer, who previously portrayed the villain in Tears of the Kingdom and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment — a claim that has not been confirmed by Nintendo.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
