NTE Osaka Pop-Up Features Kurobane Cosplay and Voice Booth

Perfect World Games' NTE: Neverness to Everness hosted its first Osaka real-world event, 'Kurobane no Petit Uranai', at Ponte Plaza from October 2 to 4.

NTE: Neverness to Everness held its first real-world event in Osaka, a pop-up titled 'Kurobane no Petit Uranai' at Ponte Plaza on the B1 floor of OCAT in Namba, running from October 2 to October 4, according to automaton-media.com.

The event was themed around Kurobane, the new playable character added to the free-to-play supernatural urban open-world RPG. Cosplay photo sessions featured three cosplayers appearing as regular Kurobane, Kurobane in her 'Yakou Banks' costume, and Rinko, with each rotating one at a time every 30 minutes.

A 'ReroRero Phone Booth' was installed at the venue, where visitors could record voice messages that may be used in official broadcasts. The booth had previously appeared at the Ikebukuro NTE event 'Meh Meh Mura no Daibouken'.

A message board titled 'Letters to Witch Kurobane' was also set up for players to post messages about the game.

Kurobane's Move From NPC to Playable Character

Kurobane was added as a new character in late September 2026. Before that, she had long been an NPC living as a fortune teller at the Witch's House in Hashimaji, and players had requested her as a playable character before her addition. Developer Perfect World Games has previously held NTE real-world events in areas such as Ikebukuro and Akihabara.
