Nyra and the Garden of Moros gets gameplay trailer for PC

Resting Relic showed climbing and weak-point attacks on giant Guardians in the Steam title, which has no release date yet.

Resting Relic released a gameplay trailer for its PC game Nyra and the Garden of Moros on October 17. The game is in development for PC via Steam, and no release date has been set.

The trailer shows the protagonist Nyra climbing on colossus-like Guardians and attacking their weak points. The Guardians come in several forms, including humanoid, dinosaur-like and four-legged types. Nyra travels the fantasy world with a wolf companion named Rāma.

The story is set in a world where the god of destruction, Moros, is sealed by 12 seals guarded by giant Guardians. Nyra finds the seal broken and the key shattered in the ruins of an empire, and must gather the 12 seals to reseal Moros.

Players will be able to choose a destructive path or a harder path in which they absorb the curse from Guardians to save them. The game supports a Japanese interface and Japanese subtitles, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.

Shadow of the Colossus cited as inspiration

Developer Joe said on X that Shadow of the Colossus is the best game ever made and one of his biggest inspirations. He said he decided to try making a similar game himself because so few exist.

Joe also posted that from the start of development he wanted players to have the option not only to kill but also to save the Guardians, and that removing their curse will free them.
