Jagex Reveals Old School RuneScape Roadmap With New Raid and Hardcore Worlds
The Fractured Archive raid arrives October 20, while OSRS Hardcore launches November 4 with one-life characters and a separate economy.
Jagex announced a roadmap of upcoming Old School RuneScape content during a presentation, according to PCGamesN. The schedule covers a new endgame raid, dedicated hardcore worlds, a month of quests and two larger updates planned for later.
The Fractured Archive releases on October 20. Jagex describes it as the hardest raid yet, adding a fourth endgame raid to the game along with new best-in-slot rewards. OSRS Hardcore follows on November 4, introducing dedicated hardcore worlds, a separate economy and one-life characters.
November is designated Quest Month, with more quests in a single month than ever before, released on a weekly basis. Early next year brings The Chosen Commander, which concludes the Cave Goblin storyline.
Bosses, Menaphos and 2027
Dungeons of Gielinor adds the most bosses ever included in a single update, spanning a broad range of difficulty. Menaphos opens in spring 2027, accompanied by a new Master quest called Fool's Gold.
Menaphos was added to the Old School RuneScape map 20 years ago but has remained inaccessible in the game.
