Persona 4 Revival Tops 2 Million Wishlists 18 Weeks Before Launch

Persona 4 Revival has passed 2 million wishlist registrations, Sega Sammy Holdings disclosed in its fiscal 2027 second-quarter results presentation, according to gamebusiness.jp. The figure was measured 18 weeks before the game's release.

At the same point before launch, Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio each had roughly 300,000 wishlist registrations, about one-sixth of Persona 4 Revival's total. Sega says a high proportion of users who wishlisted Persona 4 Revival have previously bought multiple titles in the Persona series.

Persona 4 Revival is scheduled for release on February 18, 2027, for PC (Steam/Microsoft Store), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and on May 20, 2027, for Nintendo Switch 2.

Stranger Than Heaven crosses 1 million

In the same presentation, Sega's upcoming RGG Studio title Stranger Than Heaven was reported at more than 1 million wishlist registrations as of September 3. About half of those users have never bought an RGG Studio title before, the company said. The game is set for January 15, 2027, on PC (Steam/Microsoft Store), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Persona 4 Revival was first revealed in the second quarter of 2026. Persona series sales totaled 2.23 million copies in the April-September 2026 period, up from 1.38 million a year earlier, and reached 3.22 million in the previous full fiscal year.
