Alinea Estimates Phantom Blade Zero at 850,000 Sales Before Launch

Alinea Analytics says the S-Game title sold 850,000 copies on Steam and PS5 ahead of release, with head of analysis Rhys Elliott expecting it past 1 million with Tencent sales.

Analyst firm Alinea Analytics estimates that Phantom Blade Zero has sold 850,000 copies across Steam and PS5 ahead of its release, according to gamesradar.com. The S-Game title launches in under 24 hours.

Alinea Analytics head of market analysis Rhys Elliott said 80,000 of those copies were sold after the review embargo lifted earlier this week. Elliott added that a significant number of copies will have sold on Tencent and WeGame, which he said puts sales well past 1 million.

The estimates put China, Taiwan and Hong Kong at 62.5% of copies sold so far. Those regions account for 75.9% of Steam sales and 24.9% of PlayStation sales of the game.

Phantom Blade Zero is a nominee at the Golden Joystick Awards 2026. GTA 6 is described as releasing in a few weeks' time.
