PlayerHub multiplayer mod released for Skyrim Special Edition
The lightweight mod shows other players in-game and allows chat and item exchanges, but quests, NPCs and enemies are not synchronized.
A lightweight multiplayer mod called PlayerHub - Lightweight multiplayer was published on Nexus Mods for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, gamespark.jp reported on October 27, 2026. The mod was inspired by the phantom system in Dark Souls and was built with an emphasis on lightness and compatibility.
Players on the same server see each other in-game, but quest progress, NPCs and enemies are not synchronized between them. Players also cannot directly interfere with one another, including by dealing damage.
Chat and item and equipment exchanges are supported. Equipped gear is synchronized when both players have the same mod installed; otherwise, default clothing is shown.
A demonstration video shows players with different mod setups wandering the world together, exchanging items and hiding other players from view.
Earlier multiplayer options
Several multiplayer mods for Skyrim Special Edition have been released previously, including Skyrim Together (Reborn) for progressing quests together, Keizaal Online for a world with no NPCs, and LUMIS for seeing other players' movements as lights.
