Horror game Please Remain Dead announced for PC, release undecided

Please Remain Dead is a horror game about suppressing breathing and other reactions while pretending to be a corpse, according to 4gamer.net.

The horror game Please Remain Dead has been announced for PC, according to 4gamer.net. No release date has been decided, and the game does not currently support Japanese display. A teaser movie states that a free trial version will be released.

In the game, the player wakes up restrained on a table with a sheet over them. An examiner in the room believes the player is dead and checks the body for reactions. The player uses controls to suppress bodily reactions such as breathing, arm tension and eye movement. A wrong reaction lets the examiner notice through sight, touch or hearing.

The examiner remembers previously detected suspicious points, so repeated mistakes matter. Only one hand is free, and the player can act to escape the restraint during the few seconds the examiner turns away. Something else inside the player's body starts moving like breathing and must be held down with that hand.
