Pokémon Legends: Z-A Offers Free Spewpa Mystery Gift Until November 18
The Bug-type is claimed through Link Play and requires a linked Nintendo Account, but no Switch Online subscription.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is giving away a free Spewpa through Mystery Gift until November 18 at 9 pm ET, screenrant.com reports. The distribution is claimed in-game through Link Play, then Mystery Gift, then the "Get via Internet" option.
Players do not need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to claim the Pokémon. They must, however, have their save file linked to a registered Nintendo Account, and only one Spewpa can be claimed per save file.
The gift is a Bug-type Pokémon that evolves at level 12 into Vivillon, which can appear in one of 16 patterns.
Older routes to Spewpa remain
Spewpa was originally introduced in Generation 6 and can also be caught in the base game or evolved from Scatterbug at level 9. Pokémon Legends: Z-A launched on October 16, 2025 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, and has received ongoing distributions and limited-time events since release.
